Sound error 1084: This service cannot be started in Safe Mode in Windows Vista

1. Click Start and then click Start Search

2. Type Regedit and then press Enter

3. Locate the key:

· HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Option

4. Change the option value if present to 'OptionValue'=dword:00000000

5. Close the registry Editor

6. Restart the Computer
